THE BRIEF
The client approached us to build an E-learning platform for a project funded by the European Union. Previously, we have already built the original project website – CiSoTRA Project – Civil Society for social inclusion of unaccompanied minors in transition to adulthood – learning communities for shaping transition interfaces.
The E-learning platform should include different learning materials produced during the project’s duration. It should be interesting and appealing to the students, and the client also had different demands regarding the individual courses.
After successfully finishing the courses, students will be awarded ECTS (European credit points) from Pegaso Online University, Napoli – Italy.
The website had to be built in the English language.
OUR APPROACH
The E-learning platform is structured as an online classroom with various courses. We have incorporated different solutions: protected member login, drip-feed course content, quizzes, gamification, forum, certificates, and full control of students’ progression,…
We used the WordPress Content Management System, and for the courses, we used the LearnDash system, which allowed us to integrate all the aforementioned solutions.
The learning platform was active until January 2023; in February 2023, all the courses were transferred to our joint Erasmus+ learning portal https://elearningproject.eu/.
