At the end of October, the PIConf 2022 digital conference took place for the fourth time in a row in our organization and our technical implementation. It was organized live in Malta for the first time in 2019, followed by three online conferences.
During the two days, various panel events featured excellent distinguished speakers, including the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, the former President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, the Italian Ambassador to Malta, Fabrizio Romano, the Maltese Foreign Minister Ian Borg, the Maltese Minister of Education Clifton Grima and many more prominent names from the university council of Italy and Malta.
Many participants from Italy, Malta, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, the USA, Slovenia, Poland and other countries presented their scientific contributions in many sections.
Organizing a digital conference is always a considerable technical challenge, as everything has to be taken care of, from accepting and reviewing scientific contributions, preparing conference proceedings, introducing a payment module, coordinating the schedules of individual events, and communicating with participants from all kinds of countries.
The implementation of the conference is always entrusted to us by our business partner Pegaso International Malta, who knows that the conference will always be implemented flawlessly.
