Valerij Dermol and Alenka Dermol attended the final international event of the FReINDs project in September 2026 at the University of Stavanger in Norway. The event focused on industrial symbiosis, the circular economy and more efficient use of resources.
At the closing session, Dr. Valerij Dermol also presented our activities in two closely related projects in which DERMOL participates as a partner: SymbioTech and EDU4Plastic.
In SymbioTech, we focus on industrial symbiosis, digital solutions and connecting organisations to enable more efficient use of resources. EDU4Plastic, on the other hand, applies circular economy principles to the field of plastics, with a strong emphasis on education and competence development.
An important common feature of all three projects is digital learning: for FReINDs, SymbioTech and EDU4Plastic, we developed dedicated e-learning environments, helping project knowledge reach a wider audience and remain accessible beyond individual project activities. All three e-learning environments are available at elearningproject.eu.
Connecting knowledge, content and digital learning solutions across different European projects is one of our key strengths. At DERMOL, we do not simply participate in projects — we connect, upgrade and transform their results into practical learning experiences.
