From 21 to 24 May 2025, we participated in the MakeLearn, TIIM & PIConf International Conference in Bangkok, Thailand. During the conference, we actively promoted our work and presented two innovative projects where we are proud partners: EDU4Plastic and SymbioTech.
A special focus was given to the EDU4Plastic project, which aims to enhance green skills, promote sustainable practices, and support the circular and neutral economy through innovative training methods and digital learning solutions.
Within the SymbioTech project, Valerij Dermol and Špela Dermol presented the scientific paper titled “Digital Industrial Symbiosis: Theoretical Foundations and Case Study Analysis”. The presentation showcased how AI-driven tools and digital technologies can accelerate the transition towards a circular economy and foster collaboration among SMEs, HEIs, and VET providers.
The event offered an excellent opportunity to share our research, strengthen international collaboration, and establish new partnerships.
