In May 2026, the DERMOL team participated in the international MakeLearn, TIIM & PIConf Conference held in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The conference brought together researchers, educators, project managers, and professionals from various European countries to discuss sustainability, innovation, education, and green transition topics.
As partners in the Erasmus+ project EDU4PlastiCircular – Education for Plastic in a Circular and Climate Neutral Economy, we presented the project results during the first two Special Sessions of the conference, focused on circular economy, sustainability, and green innovation.
The presentations highlighted the project’s main achievements, including the innovative training programme, e-learning platform, digital educational resources, and modern pedagogical approaches that support transformative and experiential learning. Special attention was given to the importance of developing green competences and promoting sustainable thinking and behaviour through education.
The event attracted strong interest among conference participants and enabled valuable discussions and exchange of experiences between researchers, educators, students, and professionals from different sectors.
We are proud to contribute to this important international initiative and to support the development of innovative educational solutions for sustainability and circular economy challenges.
